END OF DAY CLEANING REQUIREMENTS
We are not the only ones to use this space. Throughout the year our spaces are used every night for rehearsals.

Daily cleaning procedures include the following steps, which are listed in order (please note that sweeping & mopping are the LAST actions to be taken):

-
Return drawings to the board or to the Assistant Technical Director (ATD)
-
Return all hand tools, hardware, etc. to the Tool Room
-
If you are unsure where something goes, either ask or leave the item out on the counter in the tool room
-
Wipe down all tools using disinfecting wipes/spray
-
-
Coil and return all extension cords
-
If working on a project that is not yet completed, ask the ATD for guidance as to whether it can remain in place or if it needs to be moved (and where/how to move it)
-
Note tripping hazards or surfaces that could snag or injure clothing or skin. Fix if possible, or report to the ATD
-
Clean off all horizontal surfaces (tables, tools, etc.)
-
Return all sawhorses, tables, and large tools (table saw, panel saw, miter saws) to their stored location unless instructed to do otherwise
-
Make sure the stage is clear/Create workable rehearsal space
-
Sweep all areas in the scene shop and onstage
-
Ensure all horizontal surfaces have been swept or vacuumed prior to sweeping the floor around them
-
Move small items, items on wheels, etc. to sweep under them rather than only sweeping around them
-
-
Mop when necessary
