These are important to understand and know at all times. They are all about your safety and to keep you aware of what is happening around you.

 

• "Attention onstage"

  • If you are onstage, immediately stop what you are doing and pay attention to what is happening.

• "Heads"

  • Cover your head and get away from the source of the noise.

• "Clear the rail"

  • Move at least stage right of the stage left end of the proscenium on stage.

  • Response, when the rail is clear, is "The rail is clear"

• "Line set __ coming in/out"

  • Be aware that the numbered line set will be coming in or going out onstage.

  • Response is "Thank you (# of lineset coming in)"

  • Do not give that reply if you are not in a position to see what will be moving.
