A CHRISTMAS CAROL
CALLBACKS
Monday May 4, 6-9 pm in Toland Theatre
- Actors should show up dressed ready to move. Think of this callback as you would a movement or dance class. We will do a short warm-up , followed by some focusing exercises, and then a small group devising section. After the devising, we will move on to individual readings from the script. Not everyone will be asked to read individual sides. The focus of the callback is primarily on the devising section. The group assignments, group sides, and individual sides will be given to the actors at the callback. Everyone should be prepared to demonstrate a British dialect. (Don’t worry if it isn’t very good, I’m listening to where you are and not assuming that your current dialect is a final product.)
