The Author!
Adam Rubin is the author of Dragons Love Tacos. He has written over a dozen children's and middle grade books, including Dragons Love Tacos and Dragons Love Tacos 2, and the Those Darn Squirrels trilogy.
The Illustrator!
Daniel Salmieri is the original illustrator of Dragons Love Tacos. He has also illustrated for several of Adam Rubin's books, including Dragons Love Tacos 2. His work is also frequently featured in publications such as The New York Times and The New Yorker.
The Playwright!
Ernie Nolan is the playwright of our play adaptation of Dragons Love Tacos! He wrote this play in collaboration with the Plays for New Audiences division of the children's theatre based out of Minneapolis. His other works with them include Three Little Kittens and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Production History
As mentioned above, Dragons Love Tacos was originally produced for the Plays For New Audiences Division of the Children's Theatre in Minneapolis, MN. Plays For New Audiences is dedicated to bringing interesting and fun stories from excited playwrights to young audiences in order to immerse them in the world of theatre and inspire years of theatrical curiosity to come.
